The Light Within Darkness

Deep down within his eternal darkness

A man who's lived in the shadows has endured more

pain then imaginable.

feeling as though an abominable outcast

he shun himself from the rest of the world

shy of the merciless words passing his ears

He felt as though the darkness has finally begun

to swallow him whole.

Till one day a helping hand

as bright as the sun

reached out and welcomed him to a bright new world

one that neglected ignorance and misfortune,

Thus, a new world of love and compassion,

one may call them a friend, others a savior

maybe in every mass of darkness

there's a sing spark of light

one that can overcome any darkness.
