Lighter

I waited and waited until I knew

While deciding between a certain few

My wish for others, a minority

My care for you, my top priority.

.

The day of the night of the kiss

I could only hope for your bliss

And as my mind was saying no

My heart was not capable letting go

.

The moment came while in the dark

A silent flame about to spark

With the warmth of fire in my heart

Nothing could tear this love apart.
