Lighthouse


For years I prayed to a God that wasn't there Prayed because this life was never fair Insisted on change But things remained the same A break never came I sought guidance Even questioned my existence But my pain persisted In solitude I find my own reply That things happen they way they should For that moment and that's the reason why It was then I realized When I was at peace with the earth It was at peace with me The questions I had were explained by nature The higher power I needed had always been right there
