Lightning
I wish that I could feel the power of a lightning storm.
Causing more physical destruction than anything else.
Not having to think at all.
Always feeling the warmth as it strikes the Earth.
Seeing nothing beyond the surface.
Being the source of the pain instead of feeling the pain from others.
Thunder as my only campanion.
Yet, I'm still the brightest and the fastest.
You can never follow me.
Disappear and reappear right before your eyes.
Then the clouds disperse,
and the storm fades away.
Invisible in the dark abyss,
this is where I stay.
