The Lights

The Lights My dream is to be in the middle of the huddle under the lights. To be able to work towards a goal With people I have no relation to But feel like my extended Family My dream is to feel like David beating Goliath Watching the legions of fans roar up and down like the sea Hearing the beating of the drums deafening yet silent No one but us and them My dream is to be in the center of the chaos under the lights To be able to say I have what it takes. To show everyone that hard work beats talent My dream is to be under the lights 12 more Friday nights.
