Lights

The lights of our lives will always shine

Even brighter than those at Christmas time.

One to worship on a glorified shrine,

Ignoring this light would be a great crime.

So accept your bright light when it arrives.

Don’t be influenced by the lies of life.

Let your lights guide you through your painful lives.

Loosing your way would feel like a sharp knife,

The heart bleeding and begging as it dies.

Don’t lose hold of your light without a fight.

But, if you do lose hold, watch as it flies.

That light of our life, forever, shines bright.

Illuminating the sky at nightfall,

Your light will stay even after you fall.
