Lights

Everywhere I go the sun is always following me.

Even at night my room is lit up like a room filled with happy people.

That must be it huh? You know there isn't much obligation to be sad, but there are those who wear it like a mask.

For the longest time I pretended to be sad, and evyed the miserable and lost.

Friends with shattered dreams, and lost souls is what I wanted the most!

One day it hit me. At the middle of the night a person convinced me.

He said with such sadness and hunger "I want to live no more my friend. This world isn't meant for folks like me.

With a clear head, and my friend's damaged soul in my hands it finally hit.

All this time I wanted to be sad, when there people in the world who have it Real Bad.

So, I dropped the whole act, and helped my friend with his life.

Now the mask has come off, my friend is doing better, I've embraced happiness, and tried to help others.

I guess it takes a sad person to bring you to your sensess.
