This girl drops words like a spelling bee
meditating thoughts to action, you can see her weave
wild and wicked wonder, like a siren she sings
instigating introspection, a harvest she reaps
I fell into her eyes, a vortex deep
emerging transfigured, like a simile
eruptions of laughter entrancing,
romance, slowly, advancing
She's the queen of tangents, thoughts rotating like planets
the gravity of her words pull at me like a magnet
I'd reach to lend a hand but she pulls herself up
meaning like contraband, smuggled into my soul
her spirit so wise and grand, I never want control
I'd love to be a part of her, but she's already whole
I run for the horizon but her thoughts chase haunting me
a symphony on my heartstrings, never minor in their key
so I hide in plain sight, lyrics in symmetry
with the ebb and flow of hearts
tidal wave, incoming
