lil girl
lil Black girl,
once so insecure, ensure, low self-steem, would you believe?
lil black girl
cried yourself to sleep, heart felt beat,
not accepted, make them regret it,
show the world, something they never expected,
lil black girl,
Put your crown on your head, love yourself instead,
instead of self hatred, you don’t have to face it,
lil black girl,
your a queen, as dominant as a queen bee,
skin tone of honey, ansectory so valuable such as foreign money,
lil black girl,
be confident, give the people who looked down on you a punishment,
the best punishment of being you, expose nothing but the truth,
lil black girl,
i once felt bitter, on cold lonely nights I shivered,
afraid of being me, which me scream,
screamed inside, never felt alive,
but now I walk with my head up high,
learned self love, self confidence,
i lil black girl love myself, found my self worth,
given what i mostly deserved .
