LILY OF HIS SAHARA

She’s a solitary lily of the Nile

in his Sahara

He’s the sun: fierce and unforgiving

She is his muse, his empty canvas

He creatively splashes colour of pain

all over her pristine petals

She enjoys the feeling,

but dark clouds bloom in her

wizened core
