Limbo
It's easy to go into a state of limbo
Like you're on in a continued state of not needing to know
It doesn't help that the time going slow
Especially when you can't get in the flow
Trying to put all of this knowledge somewher to stow
Life keeps on moving but you feel that you're standing in the same place
Even though you're trying to move like you're getting chased
But sometimes you're mind is so numb that you're spaced
out thinking about what you're gonna face
now that things are hitting you like a mace.
It's funny how everyones ignoring the present
like nothing can go wrong cuz they heaven-sent
Not thinking about what things mean but about what they meant
Going all out and crazy like it's right before lent
But none of them are gonna repent.
It's funny being so close yet so far
Like you wanna just jump in a car
to cross the finish line and jump over a bar
and do it as quickly as possible without a scar
It's limbo, cuz nothing in the present matters
In just a few weeks, everythings gonna scatter
Some will make it and be all the chatter
Some of us will just land on the poo poo platter
Yet others will just do what they can to clim the ladder
It's limbo, everything needs to get done
And people put they're pressure and expectations like they're the one
Who's gonna do all the work- them none,
It's limbo, we're still together but we already separated
Acting like we've done something even though we haven't even made it
It's limbo and it's excruciatingly slow.
