limbo

you remind me of someone i’d once known

a face id felt so long ago

to live in lust or die in debt

to hold a lover that you call a friend

follow me home to the place

that we know

where we’re sound as two but

freedom is peril

a feeling of foolishness one has shown

so here I am, stuck in limbo
