Limerance

Involuntary thought, and deep desire
Have come together, to plot and conspire

A life sentence of, distracting daydreams
That plays in the mind, like a silver screen.

In constant state of, lonely Limerence
From which I’m praying, for deliverance.

A restless need, for some understanding
Even breathing becomes, less demanding

My broken heart, unceasingly musing
While life around me, grows more confusing

Will i ever find a way back to you?
Can I ever give my whole life to you?

Words of love, in quiet desperation
Decades of wonder, and separation

Our minds connect, in real time I believe
Or I’m romantic, easy to deceive

Either way, you hold a lien on my soul
Remainder of life, I will pay the toll

When stars align, and vibrations ascend
Our scars from living, will only mend

Until the day, our two journeys unite

To you I am sending, pure love and light
