Limit Me Not

How do I love you? Let me count the ways. I love you until my dying breath was just a flutter. My soul could not care to live, and yet not shudder. I love you until Time collapsed upon itself And all we could have known simply sat upon a shelf- Weeping. I love you more than words can express-limited in Quantity, Quality, and Taste. But can I love you until the Son itself has come back To Live and Love? Can I love you until the Son itself has come round And bourne itself to the ground? Indeed I can. And that is how I have yet to love. Because as bleak as the night may be at the latest hours. My heart believes in love, as a set of open doors.
