Lindey Jane

When I was loneliest, you where there.

When I was friendless you took me in.

No questions asked no judgements made just you and me, wild and crazy.

All I needed was someone; and you were her.

Beautiful blonde curls, a big bold smile all the time.

All you wanted to do was party and have fun and just make everyone's live you met better.

You were all I needed.

And now you're gone.

Ripped from my hands right through the windshield of your 2007 Honda Accord at only 18 with still so much to prove.

You had a life, you had friends, you had me. That's all you could've asked for.

I know that now you don't have to grow up be responsible

and I know now you don't have to go through this hard life

and I know now you're free of any pain and your soul will love forever

but Lindey Jane, I need you.

Youre all I need.

I need my best friend back. My go-to.

Who do I cry to when my boyfriend is pissing me off

who do I go to when I just need a night away from all this crazy

who, Lindey?

Youre all I need. And I can feel you with me.
