The Line
Let us walk the line.
Strip this sheet,
Explore your mind.
Just between you and I,
I know you have seen defeat.
But, let us walk the line.
Understand this heart of mine,
Not at all like yours, but also beat.
Let me explore your mind.
Peel off the layers of crime,
Walk across those streets.
You must walk the line.
And as we turn and turn back time,
You’ll strip that sheet,
And explore your mind.
Think and feel and climb,
Those walls of defeat.
Oh look, you’ve walked that line;
Explored your mind.
