The Line
Broken
Bruised
Beat down
Bullied
Over
And
Over
Again
Until you don’t get up
Whether it's because you can’t or won’t
They don’t care
As long as you stay down
They don’t care what their words do to you
They don’t care what demons they are releasing
The words that run rampant
Repeating in your head
They steal your breath
Until you are left begging for death
Death reaches out with boney hands
Sending a shiver down your spine
Saying “you’ll soon be mine”
You walk the line
