Linger

I tried to forget you

But you're still in my mind

Yet sometimes I still wonder

If I will ever find

A place to be released

From the grip you still hold

I thought that after all this time

The memories would grow old

So many things

That I had told you

And you returned the favor

But none of it was true

To fall for your trap

Makes me a fool

And I thought that you would help me

But secrets are what you stole
