Lingering doubt

Lingering doubt

Why would I have them

He is with me through the passing of time

Never leaving

Giving me strength and hope

He stands with me always by my side

He holds me steady when I am weak

Even as there is nothing on this island

There is Him

He will carry me through

There is no reason to lift my eyes to him

He stands beside me

He stands with me

With him I have hope

With him I have peace

He will help me see it through until the end.
