The Lion
As the bullets whiz past your head
you wonder what it's like to be dead
where do you go, what do you do?
well I guess that's up to you.
the enemy is closing in,
and he takes count of all your sin
what you do will determine your fate
If you end up at the gate
you come back to reality
and see the angel of mortality
you beg and cry please please no
but it's to late not to go
the bullet hits you in the chest
it breaks through your clothes, and your vest
you fall and hit hard on the ground
you realize you are not found
the angel comes and takes your life
the last thing is you see is a knife
you end up at the gate
you think about your eternal fate
what will happen? You ask
and a great big voice speaks like in a flask
your beliefs have sealed your death
I saw you take your very last breath
you can come sit here with me
or you can go and let me be
if you leave you will burn in hell
with me you will hear the bell
of your new life by my side
and you will be forever lied
down there with them you will not live
only you will have to give
all your time, your life, your soul
all because you hate the goal
of myself to let you be
as happy as you can be
what is your choice my son he said
you ask if you can lay in bed
he says you could but up or down
you ask to have a look in town
he takes you in and all you see
is the joy of everybody
you go down and take a look
and you are instantly hooked
they party and laugh and drink and smoke
you think you will have a coke
what is your choice asks the great voice
you think about your fatal choice
you say you like it down there better
because they laugh and have on sweaters
he sends you down and all you see
is people living in poverty
you ask the leader what the heck
he takes his and around your neck
he says you are his slave now
what you see is not always what you get "wow"
you spend eternity working and crying
and you wish you would have chosen lion.
