Lioness

She speaks to inspire, to persuade

Her voice confident and strong,

She is a lioness, her viewers her pray.

Her moves like liquid,

Eyes like black ice on an Ohio back road.

She knows not of them, those quiet back roads

She knows steady towers, fake smiles and charmingly dressed toads.

This career gives her power, gives her strength

That little lion cub she was before, she no longer exists, she’s pushed off that shore.

Sure, her life can not be the same.

Same love in these times gives her hope.

Hope she’ll find her way back home someday.

Someday, a long way a way.

She is a lioness, all are her pray.

Try her in her arena, make her day.
