As the List Goes Infinitely On

The definition of primitive:

When a race

Needs competition to set the pace.

When it is imperative.

When we simply lack the initiative.

Unless, of course, we introduce an incentive.

When we idolize stability,

Merely because we “lack the ability.”

When all are children and need an authority.

When knowledge comes after physicality.

When need

Is replaced by greed.

When the pinnacle of achievement is to procreate.

When we immediately segregate.

When we murder.

We can go so much further!

When it’s all or nothing,

Combined with smoking, drinking, and shooting.

When transcendence is withheld by fear, economics, and politics.

When we lose touch.

When chaos is exploited by fanatics.

When we just don’t care that much.

When we are part of the problem and not the solution.

When we can’t admit: “Not everyone is created equal.”

Not even when we are fetal.

When we cannot rid ourselves of pride

And reject our self-induced illusion.

When we can think on our own,

And have no urge to own.

When we finally accept responsibility.

When we do not depend on blind faith.

Only then will we reach tranquility.
