Listen

I like to think I have something to say

I like to think my words really mean something

I like to think they can change things

I believe my ideas are revolutionary

I believe I am smart

I believe in myself

I have to, however, focus on other things

I have to do homework

I have to grow up

I must always be improving or get left behind

I must juggle to keep my head above water

I must

I wish I could drop the world and just think

I wish I could explore my thoughts

I wish I had time

I know things don’t work that way

I know I might not be important

I know I might be forgotten one day but…

I still think

I still move

I still breath

I still speak and I will speak

I have something to say

Will you listen?

Will anyone listen?
