Listen to the Little Things

I Love You was not needed

You see it was not the Romeo and Juliet story

It was the old grandma and grandpa story

When I compromised with a smile it meant I Love You

When I hugged you long and warm it meant I Love You

When I sang those Bruno Mars songs to you it meant I Love You

When you came home late and I scolded you it meant I Love You

It was the little actions that showed my love for you

But you never understood those action

Love is not meant to be forced so I stand waiting

Maybe you will find it in my next smile

next hug

next song

next scold

or maybe you won't
