Listen to Me

Listen to me when I’m completely silent.

Listen to me when the weight of the world has made my mouth close tight.

I’ll say “I’m fine” but I’m not.

Listen to me- I mean really listen.

When words have become insufficient listen to those signs.

Those S.O.S’s I send out in secret.

They’re for you.

A cry to you.

For you to listen to me.
