listen we will
A single thing, unambiguous
Heard in a single way
They tell us to hear
But instructions are the enemy
We will not hear
Listen we will
So many meanings
The beacon eludes us
But the truth is seen in our own eyes
In red
In green
In blue
A single word
Blinded by the world
Defined by experience
Listen we will
Written in one language
Heard in another
A riddle perhaps?
Open ended, to decipher your own answer
Intended to open eyes
To a world not your own
When the eyes are actually opened
To your world unknown
Listen we will
