Listening

Birds song

Laughing along

Childish whispers

The sounds we hear

And take for granted

Something i've lived without

and so much appreciated

The pound of a heart beat

The crash of the waves

Voices only softened

Noises almost deafened

My inspiration came from knowledge

The Knowledge of silence

Learned behaviors brought by safe expectation

Looking for the words

Listening with the eyes

Things so easily missed by the ordinary

Isn't it extraordinary

Actions have power

More power than words

Thats what ive learned
