Literary Art

My career will take me to the grey moon

Beyond Sun system; far, far from Earth,

Yet here I am next door singing a tune

Indoors, metaphorically giving birth:

To new landscapes and new stories to tell

To war and peace; people who hope to change;

Uconquerable cities and how they fell

Making traditions and customs strange.

Over vast oceans inside foreign lands

Where should I rest my head? Where shall I roam?

Visions recorded by my fatigued hands

Steal the eyes and hearts of all those back home.

To see the world and to brave its seas

Not just a dreamer, but a writer be.
