A Litter Bit Bigger

Its funny how it starts

Looking back at yourself at a younger age

Thinking

"Was I really that small?"

Then its little things

Being able to reach the peephole in the door

Grabbing a mug off the top shelf

Noticing how small some of your favorite things are

But its other things as well Its learning to speak instead of shout

Its making dinner for yourself when your parents are busy

Its comforting your siblings when you can

Its not being afraid to speak your mind

Learning little lessons about

Working towards your goals

And how to speak for your heart

How to pick yourself up after falling

But mostly its looking back and thinking "I still have a lot of growing to do"
