Little Buddy


In the beginning I didn't like you You were the homeliest dog I had ever seen I thought my parents were crazy When they came with you Over the years you grew on me Your quirks had become a comedy routine I loved how you were afraid of everything One day I noticed that you were tired The trip to the vet did not go so well Cancer is what they had seen You looked at me with those big brown eyes And wondered what that meant
