A Little Chirp
Amidst the brashness of the rain,
And the vultures screeching in vain,
I heard a little chirp,
Acting in usurp.
I watched the little bird make
The skies dry
The savages shy
The thunder sigh
Echoing through the valley
Rolling over the hills,
Spreading over the sea
Nature began to shift
In inexplicable ways,
And it all started
With a little chirp.
