Little Frog
There was a little troubled frog.
And everywhere they looked, it seemed they could help.
Do better, make stronger, build higher, jump farther.
They hopped from group to group,
each one presented different shades of grins
and they did their best to match the colorful variety.
But between each group, in the silence of the air whistling past,
there was no color.
no jealous green, joyus yellow, or mellowed purple.
They only reflected others.
So the little frog took a trip to find their own color.
Many months, frustrating weeks, and droning days passed.
Until the frog came back,
and saw that they could be any color,
no more reflecting the truth of others.
But rather they could admire the diversity's beauty.
And still hold their own rainbow in the silence.
