The Little Girl

Little girl climbing the tall trees.

Happy and joyful, full of life not knowing the evil in the world.

Big doe eyes that danced with happiess and her little smile with missing teeth.

She talked with her parents about everything not keeping secrets.

Always looking forward and never back.

She ran in the woods, mind running wild thinkng she too was one of the animals that lived in the wooded area

Played with her friends in a world that they created.

Only evil she believed in was the girl down the street.

That little girl is now scared and hides.

She was me at one point, I don't rememeber it much though.

Now I keep my back to the wall,

protecting it from any evil like you that lurks.

Being touched and felt.

Believing I'm always dirty and need to scrub my skin.

His hands still on me in my mind.

Instead of running in the woods, I run in my dreams.

I stay in my room locked away from everyone else.

I believe now there is evil out there because of him.

My uncle, my famly, my dads blood.

Now my eyes are scared and blocked off from the world.

The eyes are like peering to your soul.

If you looked in mine you'd see the little girl.

The little girl that smiled everyday.

The little girl that never went astray.

You'd see the girl, but she'd be crying and scared.

She's now hidden from the world never to be heard from again.

And that's just what people do.

That's what the evil does to the people.

Sexual assault is no joke.
