Little Girl In The Corner
Little girl in the corner with tears in her eyes...
Mommy and Daddy still love you, I know that they fight.
Little girl in the corner, I know you’re very young, you dream of the future, of this life you’ve barely begun.
Young girl up in the tree, running away from the world, how beautiful are the birds that surround you, maybe one day you’ll learn to fly.
Young girl up in the tree, dreams still dance in your mind, this time all are happy, you’ve forgotten how to cry.
Young woman in the world, now it’s really begun, I know you’re scared, you’re still searching for the sun.
Now’s the time to turn childhood dreams into reality. Go search for your wings and when you find them, don’t forget about those early dreams.
