Little girl trauma

I know I am not the best I know I have not treated you kindly But it was your words that blinded me Unknowing I took this as love Buried it deep within me So no one could ever see it I choked on the blood that filled up the bathtub From trying to drain your words out of me Slipped while playing jump rope Now I'm hanging Myself Out to dry So my tears can be wiped away from the sunlight And my bruised knees can get kissed from the summer breeze You threw names , harsh slurs, and objects at me Screaming at the top of your lungs As if maybe you were hurting too Drowning in your own pool of blood Maybe in your own thoughts But that does not give you the right to treat another human badly.
