Little Golden Boy

You’re their little golden boy
Man, do you shine bright
But you let them treat you like a toy
They dim your glowing light

Man do you shine bright
When no one else is there
They dim your glowing light
They leave you out in the empty air

When no one else is there
You’re off free in your own land
They leave you out in the empty air
With shackles on your hands

You’re off free in your own land
But you let them treat you like a toy
With shackles on your hands
You’re their little golden boy
