The Little Lesson
The road goes on but never stops
Children play and sing along to melodies
In the glistening paved road
A little bird sings along with spirit
Until his soul could sing no more
Little did it know that life is filled with surprises
For his petite heart skip a beat of life.
Its minuscule body fell upon the ground,
And the children starred at the gloomy sight
Little did their innocent minds know that death was present
They picked up the “dormant” creature
And prayed for a miracle to awaken it
From dawn to dusk they observed it
But not sign of life ceased to exist
From that day on till forever
They learned that…
Life is filled with surprises and
it takes the living away just as fast
As it bring s it to life
One thing that is certain
The road goes on but never stops.
