little lies

My daddy left when I was 5

Everyday I told myself little lies

I wouldn't be that girl with "daddy issues"

Looking for love in men who would diss you

So I found a good man, to father my kids and be by my side

But I was still missing something I couldn't deny

I still look for love though I have it at home

I am that girl that everyone knows

The little lies I tell myself

Have actually never really helped
