Little light skinned girl

Little Light skinned Girl

Just because I'm a black  doesn't mean I love fried chicken (but I do)

Just because I'm black doesn't mean I know every new dance move

Just because I'm black doesn't mean I'm loud and ghetto

Just because I'm black doesn't mean my father is in jail or not present in my life

Just because I'm black doesn't mean my ma is a Crackhead

Just because I'm black doesn't mean I don't care about my education

Just because I'm black doesn't mean I rely on government assistance

Just because I'm light skin doesn't mean I'm any less "black"

Just because I'm light skin doesn't mean I'm mixed

Just because I'm light skin does not mean I'm more attractive than a dark-skinned person

Just because I am very opinionated doesn't make me an angry black women

Just because I talk "properly" doesn't mean I'm white

Just because I have hair does not mean it is a weave or wig

Just because I am a female does not mean I can't do the same things as male

Just because I care about women's rights doesn't mean I am a crazy feminist

Just because it's 2019 means that no one should be judged based on their

beliefs, the color of

their skin, their sexual orientation or their gender!
