Little Me

Nineteen,

A whirlwind of years,

Epic adventures,

Forever friends,

A whole new life

but a life with regrets

looking through old photographs make my heart ache

I see a fake smile,

holding back,

exclusion to the world

if only i could take it back and remind little me

Dear fifteen,

shoot your shot

text that boy

drink that milkshake

go to that party

wear that outfit

indulge yourself

life is too short to worry

who cares if you gain a few pounds

who cares if he left you on read

are you embarressed now

dont be

no one will remember tomorrow

be yourself, learn, grow

go out and live the teenage dream

it comes and goes quickly

soon all you will have is photographs

when you look at those photographs

it will be like reliving the glorious times

or the dark days

whatever they shall be, make sure you had the time of your life
