Little Moments 1

It’s 7:17 in the morning and the sun is rising

I am stirred only by the cool breeze floating through my window

The morning kisses my cheeks and caresses my skin

It is quiet and calm and serene

I smile to myself as I sit up

The warm light is slowly flooding the darkest corners of my space

The day is calling

And I must go
