Little Ms. Watson, why do

Little Ms. Watson, why do those kids mess with you?

Is it your mismatched socks? Your dirty shoes?

Maybe it is because your jokes aren't that great

Either way, they spew nothing positive

Only hate

The only other reason that they speak

Is before a test

In an attempt to cheat

You will make an A from what I can tell

Maybe they will be nice

If you don't cover your answers very well

Ms. Watson, Are you ready for your final exam?

You have studied long enough

You know better not to cram

This is it, the very last test

Try to focus

Although you have had little rest

From the corner of your eye

Is that girl trying to peek?

She motions towards you

It is your answers she seeks

You have grown to be dedicated

Learned to master your quirks

You know to never trade fake kindness

In return for YOUR work

You take a glance at her from over your shoulder

She taps her fingers and awaits

Your glance turns colder

Grab your test and find a new seat

Her mouth opens

Your answer is concrete

Dr. Watson! Dr. Watson!

Could you give some advice?

For those in school, the skills to be acquired

Important traits that would suffice

You smile and pause

Open your mouth and proclaim

Be true to yourself

For only that will grant you fame
