A little prayer

I am nothing but flesh and blood.
I do as my flesh tells me to.
I fall in to my worldly desires
that I have forgotten
I even have spiritual needs,
well I guess that's why I'm here
in my moment of need
telling you of my longings.
I long for purpose.
This sack of bones, flesh,
and blood are tired
of existing with out direction.
Lead me to the river,
no but I must lead myself.
In my own journey,
it's not yours.
You know it all.
So I'll be on my way.
