Little Red
When Little Red was young
The wolf came bearing no harm
The wolf said to little Red
That he would lend her his arm
They walked down the cobble path
Little Red sulked and crept
The wolf was always next to her
Little Red was afraid
That the wolf had stayed
So Little Red ran and cried
As she looked up she could see
The shadow of the wolf through the light of the tree
But it wasn’t a wolf in her eyes
But a man with long hair
That was taking Little Red far away
From the abuse of a huntsman that showed no care
To grandmother's house they went
A place of solitude and peace
A man with his pride
And a child's whose heart had died
In grandmother's house they sat
Though the huntsman was approaching fast
The door whisked open
As did the wolf's chest
As it felt the might of the huntsman's blast
Not all stories are happy or true
The cold reality is
Some live in this type of fantasy world too
