Little Smaller and Gone

A little town A slice of hope An insignificant knot in a long rope The start of a state Was in this house here This house rejected No houses near There’s a blink of light In this house That shines every so years But for now it’s smaller than its mouse No one to care for it It’s all alone Sooner or later It won’t be fit for a home This little light of the house so weak, Only need a little heartfelt speak And given some time, The light shall grow From a whickering light To one that melts snow If left alone In this house forsaken The light will fade, waiting to be awaken Unable to warn the coolest bone. In truth be told, this is not the end For stories such as this have many friends And all end well, as this you shall see For I have come to set it free I have placed it upon its lamp stand to shine Into the darkness, forever divine No matter the darkness, one can see this light Once forsaken, now shines bright
