Little Star

Twinkle,  twinkle, little star

How I wonder how you are.

Since no one seems to ask if you're alright;

Are you okay, will you live to shine another night?

Up above a world you once knew,

Peering down upon us as you always do.

Everyone thinks you're always going to burn bright,

But what if you're not there glimmering one night?

By the time they notice you are gone,

It has already been over for far too long.

Oh, twinkle, twinkle, little star,

How I wonder how you are.
