little symphony

snowy hills come alive
reflecting the glow from our firelight
catching the stars in the sky
i hope i have a good dream tonight

since it's just you and me - the two of us-
we've got just one shot, so i've got to trust
we can work together, you and me
don't let me down, self, one day we'll be free

i watch the sun begin to rise
i see the life shine in your eyes
a simple little symphony
incomprehensible to me

crimsenTenacity

they/them * i mostly write short drabbles or fanlyrics than full poems. most of my "poems" aren't really in any poetic form, i just write them funny, so that's why i'm not sharing them. what i do have so far is my older work that i thought was worth sharing. * i grew up religious, and have to live with a religious family, so my views are affected by that and i've reconciled both my identity and my religion, but hopefully the weird little song lyrics i posted can help others in the same position come to terms with their own selves. * i have a really long poem in the weirdest rhyme scheme i've ever done but it's a character piece for a video game i like so idk if that's something that can be posted here.
