The Little Things

This life is short This life is dreary The hours go by My mind grows weary. Thinking of tomorrow Brings me to tears This life we live Is too full with fears. But too many worries Won’t do us any good Life comes with many wonders Which are often misunderstood. Think about what makes you happy The things that make you smile For this life is too short To not enjoy it all the while.

This poem was inspired by the everyday worried feeling that we carry with us. The feeling that our lives our so short and vulnerable and there's really nothing that we can do about it. But the fact that we can't do anything about it is why we have to look past that and enjoy this life while we can.
