Little Things

Little

Seemingly insignificant

The memories stitch themselves together

Like a quilt

There are beautiful designs

And vibrant patterns

That we name the blanket of life

Our brains

Wrap themselves around what the eye is processing

And we wear the blanket

When it's cold

And reality seems to have no end

Or

When it's hot

And we don't mind the extra warmth

To process the experience

Of our world

Each quilt is different

Just as each of us is unique

And those little things

Fill in the gaps

Just as the stitches keep the blanket together

Enjoy yhe stitches of life

For you never know when life itself might unravel....
