The Little Things

At night when I'm on my bed thinking

I feel inspired for reasons I sometimes don't understand

But when I really think about it

I get inspired at the thought of happiness

The simple act of reading a book

or hanging out with a couple of friends

The thought of getting into college,

having a career and being independent

It's the little things that I cherish,

and the little things that will always push me the extra mile.
